The Importance of Student Data Privacy

Similar to banks and credit card companies, school districts also collect confidential information such as names, addresses, photos, dates of birth and sometimes social security numbers. Much of this information is stored as a part of a district’s database on its servers or in the cloud, and it is vital that administrators keep this data confidential and safe from hackers.
